Fr. Janusz Rogiński, SAC
Pastor
Born in Poland, Nov. 19th 1971, joined Pallottine Fathers in 1990; Studied in Poland in Pallottine Seminary in Oltarzew, in the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw, and at the University of Warsaw; Ordained priest May 10th 1997; Studied in Rome at Pontifical Biblical Institute and at the Gregorian University. In Canada since Oct. 1st 2006, first as Associate Pastor in St. Ambrose Church in Cambridge (2006-2008), then as Pastor in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Hamilton (2008-2018), St. Gabriel Church in Burlington (2018-2021), St. Therese of Lisieux Church in Port Colborne (2021-2023). In July 2023, he was appointed Administrator, and in August 2023, Pastor of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
Fr. Janusz loves being around people but also out in nature, enjoys travelling and waterfalls.
Fr. Daniel Corso
Associate Pastor
Father Daniel Corso was born and raised in Port Dalhousie, St. Catharines. He received an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, where he competed at the Division I level for Northeastern heavyweight men's rowing team, and more importantly, began to discern a vocation to the Priesthood. After returning to Canada in 2015, he entered formation at St. Augustine's Seminary of Toronto and was ordained a priest by Bishop Bergie on May 21, 2022, at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria.
To share in the holy priesthood of Jesus Christ is the highest of honours for Father Daniel, and especially to be able to serve in his home diocese. Fr. Daniel also enjoys endurance and strength training, playing/coaching/following sports like hockey, rowing, golf, and volleyball, reading theology, philosophy, and fiction, and going to concerts when he can. His favourite movies are the Rocky saga, and of course Nacho Libre.
