Finance Council

Description:
Help guide the responsible stewardship of parish resources while supporting the future mission of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
An opportunity to share your professional gifts in service to the Church.
According to the regulations of the Canon Law and for the Diocese of St. Catharines:
I. “Every parish in the Diocese of St. Catharines should have a Finance Council which is a group of people with skills and expertise in finance, administration, and law.”
II. “As a body, seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the members review and analyze the fiscal situation of the parish. They then make recommendations to the Pastor on the wise use and development of the resources which are available to the parish
(Canon 537).”

Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council works with the Pastor to study the needs of the parish, help plan for the future, support parish ministries, and offer advice on matters affecting parish life.
The Council serves in an advisory role, helping the Pastor discern priorities and opportunities for the parish.
