Legion of Mary
Who it's for:
Catholics over 15 years of age.
Description:
The Legion of Mary seeks the glory of God through the holiness of its members, developed by prayer and active cooperation in Mary’s and the Church’s work.
They visit Holy Rosary and Denis Morris schools to pray the Rosary with students, visit Cobblestone Gardens to pray with seniors, and host a weekly outdoor Rosary for Canada. They also bring the Pilgrim statue of the Blessed Virgin to homes for temporary veneration.

RCIA(Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
Who it's for:
Adults(12+)
Seeking to be fully initiated into the Church, and open to any who desire to revisit the basics of what it means to be a Catholic Christian
Description:
Weekly Sessions featuring evangelization, catechesis, and faith formation intended specifically for the purpose of preparing for Baptism, Confirmation, and the Most Holy Eucharist, and forming adults in what we believe, how we worship, how we live, and how we pray.
📍 Meetings:
Classes run every Sunday in the Caritas room from 9:15-10:45am, beginning in the Fall and continuing through the Spring. 2025-2026 start and end dates TBD. Individual sessions are also available.

🎵 OLHR Music Ministry
Who it's for:
Children, youth, and adults interested in sacred music and choral participation.
Description:
The Music Ministry at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary includes three active choirs:

English Choir:
This choir is composed of singers of all ages and performs liturgical music during Sunday Mass. It is open to anyone who wishes to sing and serve through music. -
Children’s Choir:
This group participates regularly in Sunday liturgies and special events. It fosters a love for sacred music from an early age in a joyful and supportive environment. -
Niagara Men’s Schola:
This choir specializes in Gregorian chant and sacred Latin music. It includes men from various parishes across the Diocese and participates in special Masses, contemplative rosaries, concerts, and other liturgical services.

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

Knights of Columbus
Who it's for:
Catholic men of the parish.
Description:
Together, the Knights of Columbus empower Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work and in their community.
Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA.
Today, the Knights is a growing international organization with local councils dedicated to providing financial aid and assistance to sick, disabled and needy members and their families.
Our local Sacred Heart Council 2319 in Thorold was formed over 100 years ago, and our brotherhood continues to serve Our Lady of the Holy Rosary parish and the Thorold community.

Our Mission is to provide a place where young adults in our diocese, like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, can encounter Jesus through prayer, worship, testimony, formation, fellowship, Confession, and ultimately in the Eucharist.
